For the 4th year in a row the Flemish Administration for Science & Innovation has approved its support for the coordination of the ASEM Aquaulture Platform by the Laboratory of Aquaculture of the Ghent University.

On May 2nd, a proposal for a Coordination & Support Action was submitted under the EC 7th Framework Program as a follow up on the AqASEM activities.

New ASEM Member countries Print E-mail

The ASEM 6 Summit held in September 2006 decided to admit Bulgaria and Romania on the European side, and India, Mongolia, Pakistan and the ASEAN Secretariat on the Asian side to the ASEM process, upon their completion of the necessary procedures (for Bulgaria and Romania, upon their accession to the EU).
