Networking is core business to the ASEM Aquaculture Platform. Part of this task lays in our efforts to faciliate the etablishment of new regional or national networks and the continuing support in its further development. Up to now, the ASEM Aquaculture Platform fostered the successful establisment of:

• CAFnet, the Chinese Aquaculture and Fisheries Network
• VIFINET, the Vietnamese Fisheries and Aquaculture Institutional Network

The ASEM Aquaculture Platform is currently proceeding to set up similar initiatives in India and Indonesia.
